ACA Marketplace
Health Plan Assistance
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is a federally regulated and subsidized health insurance program developed to help individuals access affordable health coverage through the Marketplace.
Open enrollment for the Marketplace is November 1 through January 15 each year. There are other special
circumstances, however, where an individual and/or family may qualify for enrollment for health coverage outside of the open enrollment period. These qualifying events include loss of health coverage, relocation, divorce, or a household income below a certain level. Depending on your household size and income, your premium for health coverage through the Marketplace may be as low as $0/month based on the plan you choose.
At Alabama Health Guidance, we understand everyone’s financial and health needs are different, and it can be difficult to navigate the available options. Please, contact us so that we can assist you with finding the plan that will best suit your individual and/or family needs.
